Meet Ioannis Kalfagiannis, one of our new and exceptional Senior Mechanical Engineers at 9E Global.

With an impressive career spanning more than a decade, Ioannis has contributed to some of the most prestigious projects across the globe.

After earning his BEng and MSc, Ioannis worked in various locations, including the United States, Europe, and the Middle East. His career includes notable positions at Jacobs, Arup, and Ingleton Wood, to name a few. Ioannis’s diverse experience has enabled him to lead critical mechanical engineering designs, particularly in high-rise commercial buildings, pharmaceutical facilities, and defence-related projects.

Ioannis is a specialist in the integration of BIM and energy modelling tools to evaluate a building’s operational energy performance, having recently completed his master’s degree in Global BIM Management from Zigurat Global Institute of Technology. Through simulating various energy strategies, he combines these technologies to meet the stringent requirements of 6D level of development. 

This expertise enables 9E Global to offer a specialised service in the UAE and Middle East construction market, combining advanced BIM management with energy efficiency solutions. Our approach ensures that projects not only meet design and construction goals but also optimise long-term sustainability and operational performance.

Ioannis’s ability to optimise engineering processes, boost energy efficiency, and reduce costs has now made him a key asset to 9E Global. He plans to continue bringing his innovative approach to mechanical design, ensuring that our projects will always meet the highest standards of excellence.
