Andrew Sherlock – Technical Director – Structures (Consultant) at 9E Global.
We’re delighted to introduce Andrew Sherlock, who joins 9E Global as Consultant – Technical Director, Structures.
With more than three decades of experience in civil and structural engineering, Andrew is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the Institution of Structural Engineers. Throughout his career, he has led and contributed to complex, high-profile developments across the UK and internationally, delivering major residential, commercial, and mixed-use schemes from concept design through to advanced technical stages.
Andrew’s expertise spans structural steelwork, reinforced and post-tensioned concrete, piling solutions, deep basements, and complex substructures. He has worked extensively within multidisciplinary environments, collaborating closely with architects, contractors, and specialist consultants to ensure technically robust and commercially viable outcomes. His experience across diverse project typologies allows him to approach each challenge with a balanced perspective of innovation, practicality, and buildability.
Based in London and working closely with our teams across the UAE, KSA, and India, Andrew will play a key role in strengthening our UK presence while contributing to cross-regional knowledge sharing and technical excellence. His leadership style combines strategic oversight with hands-on involvement, ensuring design intent is carried through seamlessly from early stages to site delivery.
Andrew’s appointment marks another significant step in the continued growth of our Structures division. As 9E Global expands its footprint and undertakes increasingly complex projects, experienced leaders like Andrew reinforce our capability to deliver high-quality engineering solutions at scale.
