At 9E Global, we believe that engineering is not only about delivering projects but also about creating meaningful and lasting impact within the communities we serve. Guided by our commitment to sustainability, social responsibility, and our core 9E Values, our teams recently came together for a community donation drive focused on promoting conscious giving, reducing waste, and supporting those in need.
The initiative encouraged employees across our offices to donate preloved items that could be repurposed, reused, or redistributed within the community, reinforcing the importance of sustainability through everyday actions. By extending the lifecycle of usable items, the campaign aimed to support a more circular and environmentally responsible approach while also contributing to charitable causes that directly benefit individuals and families.
Through the collective efforts and generosity of our employees, the initiative successfully diverted 156 items from landfills, recycled approximately 11 items, and helped offset an estimated 4.68 kg of carbon emissions. In addition to its environmental impact, the campaign also contributed an estimated AED 2,162 worth of community support, helping provide access to essentials such as food, healthcare, and education for those in need.
More importantly, the initiative reflected the shared culture and values of our people, demonstrating how collaboration, compassion, and small individual contributions can collectively create a meaningful difference. As a multidisciplinary engineering consultancy committed to “Engineering a Better World,” we recognize that sustainability extends beyond the built environment and into the way we engage with society and support our communities.
